Old Craft Creations

Below are some items made prior to the creation of this blog.  I know the picture sizes are erratic, future posts will be cleaner.

Toy Monster!
I made my monster using an IKEA wooden artist model, hot glue and toys from the bottom of my toy box.  Yes, I really had all of this junk just laying around.

Sparkly Safety Pins
I've been all about making sparkly girly necklaces with safety pins; this is just one of them and not the best photo:

The Queen purse was not made using the actual album sleeve but instead a copy that I cemented to a piece of cardboard.

Alley find
Chair with no back and ugly yellow cushion. Redone with fabric scraps and black cloth.

My cat loves fighting me through the chair.  She looks sweet and innocent here, that's how she draws you in and then *wap* paw smack to the face!

I LOVE halloween!!
Halloween '05 (I think) went as the Mad Hatter. Hat made with posterboard, fabric, tape, and staples and an old Debbie Gibson style hat for the rim. I Decorated with silverwear, custom tag, and underneath kids tea pot attached to a headband.

Yeah my buddy Jack even scared me that night. I made little "eat me" cakes that I glued pins to and stuck around the vest and had tea bags hanging from the pockets.

Queen of Hearts: My flamingo croquet mallet: golf putter, felt, stuffing, pink feather boa, pink feather fan, styrofoam ball, and eventually I used black electrical tape for the legs and feet (not completed in this pic)

I made little card men that hung from my hair and clothing

Janet Leigh from Psycho! Shower curtain, nude body suit, real knife that my friend filed down and welded to a plate that would sit against my chest, dripping blood window cling (created a great wet blood affect under one layer of shower curtain), wig, and halloween scab blood.

Shrinky Dinks
Posting my shrinky dinks last because I'm only demonstrating my tracing abilities (although I think I did well with coloring and shading). Many of these images came from Hi-Fructose Magazine

After - A bit proud of this one because I only had red, green and yellow markers to work with.

I broke this one when cutting it, oh well, I still like it.
